Dressmaking Skills Course

The Skills Malaysia INVITE Dressmaking course provides theoretical and practical training on basic sewing skills. Students will have to complete 21 modules covering computerised embroidery machine stitching, uniform / corporate wear, evening wear, wedding dress, and other management topics such as finance, management, training management, personal management and section meeting.

The Skills Malaysia INVITE Beauty Therapy course teaches advanced skills in handling electrical treatment services such as ultrasound, galvanic, micro current, faradic, high frequency and vacuum suction for specialised body treatments. Students are also taught about diet, saloon management and supervisory work.

Printing Skills Course

The Skills Malaysia INVITE Printing course will develop practical, technical and theoretical skills for use in the pre-press sector of the printing and graphic art industries. Outcomes include creating printing materials i.e. posters, DVD covers and labels, magazine covers, brochures, newsletters, business cards and other printing artworks.


In this course, students will learn about desktop publishing (DTP) and the structure and methods of the printing industry. Students will learn to apply layout and typography principles using PageMaker, In Design, Quark X Press and other popular desktop publishing software. 


This course qualifies for work in a broad range of graphic arts and allied industries, and prepares graduates for further training in this area of printing and graphic design.

Architectural Civil Skills Course

The Skills Malaysia INVITE Architectural Civil course provides students exposure to engineering graphics where they learn the basics of computer-aided drafting (CAD), processing and storage equipment, input devices, computer-aided manufacturing, drafting skills, and application of geometry and theory of shape description in engineering drawings.

The Skills Malaysia INVITE Automotive course consists of 27 modules that involve theoretical and practical learning to develop proficiency in supervision, budgeting, human resource, occupational safety and health administration (OHSA), maintenance, servicing and repair of motor vehicles and advanced systems such as the anti-lock brake system (ABS), turbo charger, four wheel drive (4WD) systems, etc.
