Automotive Skills Course





The Skills Malaysia INVITE Automotive course consists of 27 modules that involve theoretical and practical learning to develop proficiency in supervision, budgeting, human resource, occupational safety and health administration (OHSA), maintenance, servicing and repair of motor vehicles and advanced systems such as the anti-lock brake system (ABS), turbo charger, four wheel drive (4WD) systems, etc.  

Employment may be sought in motor vehicle repair workshops and automotive dealers, as automotive technician, automotive mechanic / foreman, wheel alignment technician, service consultant / adviser, automotive electrician and other jobs related to automotive industry activities.

Assessment may be conducted through oral, written and practical methods.
Upon completion of this course, students will receive the following Certificates and Diplomas:
  • Malaysian Skills Certificate – Automotive Technician (Level 1)
  • Malaysian Skills Certificate – Motor Vehicle Technician (Level 2)
  • Malaysian Skills Certificate – Motor Vehicle Senior Technician (Level 3)
